FED: Joyce urges rethink of nuclear power ban

Nationals Senate leader BARNABY JOYCE has used his speech to his party's Federal Council
in Canberra to call for a rethink of nuclear power in Australia.

Senator JOYCE has told delegates Australia needs to get serious about nuclear power
if it really wants to reduce carbon emissions .. and should hold a referendum on the issue.

He says it'd be a noble gesture to think the world could be stacked with windmills
and solar panels covering half of Victoria .. but it won't happen.
