Vic: MCG to host major protest rally

Unions have booked the MCG for a mass rally against the HOWARD government's industrial reforms.

Tens of thousands of protesters are expected to fill the ground for the November 30
rally .. which will feature well known entertainers .. plus speeches by union leaders
and Labor leader KIM BEAZLEY.

Victorian Trades Hall Council secretary BRIAN BOYD says the MCG is a fitting location
for a major union rally.

He's told the Herald Sun newspaper it's the people .. using the people's ground.
