NSW: Sydney man in court over hydro crop

SYDNEY, Dec 8 AAP - A Sydney man will face court today on charges relating to a hydroponic
cannabis crop discovered in the Blue Mountains.

Police said they raided a house in Gladstone Street, Leura, about 9am (AEDT) yesterday
and allegedly seized 88 cannabis plants and sophisticated hydroponic equipment.

A 32-year-old man from North Turramurra, in Sydney's north, was arrested at the scene
and charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis plants, supplying a prohibited
drug, goods in custody suspected of being unlawfully obtained and possessing prohibited
drugs.

He was refused bail and will appear in Lithgow Local Court today.
