Fed: Geoscience Aust loses $6 mln in equipment from fires
The ACT bushfires have destroyed $6 million worth of equipment belonging to GeoscienceAustralia, which was also housed at the Mt Stromlo observatory.
The historic observatory was almost destroyed by the fire storm which devastated partsof suburban Canberra on Saturday.
