A Terminally-ill North-east man has won his battle to have theNHS pay for his life-prolonging cancer drug treatment.
Up until now Mike Gray, pictured, from Buckie has had to forkout thousands of pounds for the stabilising drug cetuximab.
The decision by NHS Grampian to cover his costs involvesbackdating the funding to include the estimated pounds14,000 Mr Grayhas already paid out.
He was told the news after appearing before the health board'sexceptional-circumstances panel.
