QLD: International sports science congress in Qld

Several hundred academics will converge on the central Queensland coast ahead of the
Sydney Olympics for a sports science congress.

The academics, including specialists in physical education, sports science, health
and coaching, will attend the World Sport Science Congress in early September.

Organiser TREVOR ARNOLD of Central Queensland University says the event will focus
on the challenges of life-long learning, the globalisation of education and on innovative
strategies to deliver curriculums.
