MAN JAILED IN RAPE OF WOMAN.(Local)

Charged with sexually attacking a 33-year-old woman in his apartment and possessing several packs of LSD, a city man was sent to Albany County Jail Monday.

Douglas P. Junco, 23, of 433 Hamilton St., grabbed the woman by the neck, threw her on a mattress and ordered her to disrobe while he barked, "Be quiet or I'll hurt you," according to police reports.

Junco was charged with first- degree rape, first-degree sodomy and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned on the charges before City Court Judge Larry Rosen, ordered held without bail and directed to return to court on Friday. …
